Twilight Book Series

I am so excited about this book. If you haven't already heard about the Twilight series, I encourage you to check it out. I couldn't put the book down. I usually am not really into Vampire stories, but this is one of the best love stories I have read. It's the love story between a vampire and a human and it's such an intense relatioship that you forget it's just a book. Bella is an ordinary girl and Edward is a Vampire. There are 4 books in the series. Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn. I have just started the second book, New Moon. You have probably seen the trailer for Twilight the movie that is out on Friday, 11/21/08. The movie looks just as good as the book, but I would encourage reading the book first. It is a pretty quick read. Anyway, I wanted to share my excitement about this book series. If you happen to read it or have already read it, let me know what you think. Linz

Trick or Treat!

My cute boys! I can't get enough of them!!!Liam had so much fun trick or treating this year! He was Optimus Prime (a transformer). It was such a beautiful night. No ran, no cold wind. This year we did about 4 blocks and then went home to pass out candy. Liam was very polite. He said thank you, but sometimes forgot to say Trick or Treat until after he got the candy! Next year he will be a pro. We had fun.
Way, way too much candy!!! No little boy should eat all of this! A sugar attack waiting to happen.

Happy Halloween!

Ok, Don't laugh too hard! Halloween is a big deal at my work. There are always some amazing costumes. This year, Susan my co-worker, had a great idea so we decided to collaborate on our costumes. Yes, this is really me. I am the Travelocity Roaming Gnome! I am in Paris and Susan is in Hawaii. Thanks to the help of some talented sewing, padding, accessories and a great idea, I became the Gnome!!!
Susan and I in Hawaii!
Amanda brought in baby Ethan! Cutest little Cow! Here is Christy, James, and Amanda. They had some great costumes.
Here are the boys! Mandy and Amanda brought in their boys on Halloween. (From left to right) Brice, Ethan, and Gavin. Aren't they adorable. I can't get enough of them. Ethan is only about two weeks older than the twins. Click on the image to make it larger. They are making some funny faces.

The Babies are Here!

I am excited to say that my two good friends, Amanda and Mandy, both had their babies about two weeks apart. You might remember from an earlier post that there are three co-workers who were pregnant and due around the same time. All of the babies are finally here and as cute as can be. I don't have a picture of Jenni's little girl Enza, but I have gotten to see her and hold her and she is adorable.
This is baby Ethan Charles. Isn't he a cutie pie. He was 9lbs. A big little boy, but such a sweetie.
Amanda and Ethan!

Here is Mandy holding baby Ethan. She is pregnant with twin boys in this picture and anxiously awaiting their arrival. I think we all thought she would be the first to have her babies.
Finally the twins are born. Congrats Mandy and Patrick. They are so adorable. Both weighing in at just over 5lbs. What a trooper. Gavin William and Brice Houston. How sweet are they.

Bowling Buddies

Bowling Buddies! Liam had fun bowling with cousin Brandon and Grandpa and Grandma Kane when they came to visit.
Cheesy!
Yikes!!!

Crafting

Liam and I had some fun painting cups. He really seemed to like it. He is very creative and very messy. (which is why he has no shirt on) These are going to be gifts. We can't say for who, it is a surprise.

A Pile

I don't know why Liam does this, but every once in awhile during Saturday morning cartoons Liam feels the need to make a pile. Usually when I am making breakfast I see him running back and forth from the living room to his bedroom, each time bringing something with him. He loves to make this pile of his stuff. What a weirdo! So cute though. I just had to get a picture of his Saturday morning pile. (everything has to stay on the blanket, I think he pretends that it is a boat)

Louisburg Cider Mill Continued.....

Liam liked playing in the corn. It was just like the sandbox. Not quit as dirty, but we still found pieces of corn in his clothes when we got home! He had a blast though. This is Liam going through the little kids hay maze. They also have a really huge corn maze, but we are not old enough for that yet. We might get lost.

Louisburg Cider Mill Continued.....

I just think he is the cutiest! My little sweetheart!
He loves baby pumpkins! Picking out the perfect pumpkin! Not too big, Daddy's not with us to carry it back to the car!

Louisburg Cider Mill

Liam and I went to the Cider Mill where they always have a lot of fun things to do. We go there every year. They have hayrides, a pumpkin patch, corn and hay maze, and lots of yummy treats like cider donuts! We spent the whole day there, just the two of us. Liam had a blast. As you can see I made him pose for some funny pictures. He didn't mind.
Liam was so excited to get this pumpkin cookie!. He didn't waste anytime taking a bite!
They also had this inflatable obstacle course and a huge slide. I wish I could have tried it out. It looks like a lot of fun!!! Liam can get through it really fast. I remember when he could barely make it up the rope. He has gotten so big.

Optimus Prime

Liam has been so excited to get his Halloween Costume! He saw a picture of his favorite Transformer Optimus Prime in a costume magazine we got in the mail. Ever since then, he checks the mailbox every day to see if a costume is going to come. He can't understand why the mailman hasn't delivered his Optimus costume. Funny boy! We ended up finding the exact same costume this weekend at Wal-Mart and had to get it. It was a must! He had to try it on right away when he got it! We just got it yesterday, but since then he wore it before bed and all day today! He even wore it to the gas station with me this morning to get the paper! I think he will probably wear it every minute he can! What a good investment! I called him sweetheart today while I was talking to him and he was wearing his costume. He said, "Mama, Optimus Prime is no sweetheart!" Introducing...............Optimus Prime (aka Liam) Here is Optimus taking a break from fighting the decepticons and watching some cartoons on Mommy's bed this morning.

Legends

We went to the Legends on Saturday. It is a fun shopping area. We ended up spending the whole day there and each of us got to get a few things. Liam got some nice new shoes with laces so soon we can start learning how to tie our shoes. He is almost in boys sizes for shoes. In fact he wears the largest size in little kids, 13 1/2. Liam was so excited to see the dinosaurs at T-Rex. We didn't eat at T-Rex that day but had fun looking at everything anyway. Here he is posing with one.

Funny Kid!

Getting ready to go outside. We have to take a picture first!!!

And our closeup!

Running like a mad man!

Not quit sure what is going on here. I think I am saying something to him and he is ignoring me!

Funny Kid! Typical Liam! He cracks me up! If he wasn't so shy around people, everyone would see what a goofball he really is!
